UAV Flight Controller Board Integration & Requirements
Before initiating the battery pack and BMS design phase, the Norwegian client shared their custom-developed UAV flight controller mainboard specifications. To achieve flawless structural and electrical alignment, they provided technical board layouts, physical footprint restrictions, and specialized voltage regulator requirements needed to power their onboard payload and high-frequency communication modules.
Project Background & Inspection Drone Requirements
In January 2026, we received a formal technical inquiry from a professional drone developer based in Norway, who required a custom UAV battery pack and integrated BMS for a pipeline inspection drone. To evaluate the electrical parameters, we presented our standard BMS solutions for their technical reference and requested the customer to fill out our standardized project specification requirements form.

Strict Aviation Sourcing & Modular Series Strategy
The customer completed the BMS Development Requirements, highlighting a strict aviation transportation constraint: the battery pack capacity had to remain strictly under the 100Wh threshold to comply with commercial travel and international shipping regulations. However, the flight platform operated on a 20S high-voltage configuration. To solve this, the client was open to a modular layout: using two separate 10S batteries connected in series during flight operation. We quickly organized a technical video conference with the client's engineering team, during which we finalized the 10S modular layout and settled on the optimal connector configuration.

Rapid Next-Day Drawing Release
Within 24 hours of our video conference alignment, the AYAATECH engineering division generated and released a comprehensive technical drawing of the entire 10S1P battery pack, with the custom BMS circuitry fully integrated.

Prototype Assembly & Shipment
With the design approved, our production facility initiated rapid prototyping. On May 7, 2026, the custom 10S1P 37V 2Ah 74Wh prototype battery pack samples were officially shipped to Norway for localized field testing and validation.
