Effectively prevents issues such as battery-related flight interruptions, unstable high-current output, inaccurate SOC readings, cell imbalance, overheating, and flight controller communication failures in 14S–24S drone battery packs.
Designed for agricultural drones used in crop spraying, fertilising, seeding, crop monitoring, and agricultural mapping, these smart BMS solutions provide real-time monitoring of cell voltage, pack voltage, current, temperature, and state of charge (SOC). This helps battery-pack engineers detect abnormal conditions early and maintain safe, reliable power management during charging, storage, and flight.
BMS configurations can be selected and customised based on battery chemistry, series count, current requirements, communication protocol, and flight-controller integration. Available functions, depending on the model and project requirements, include DroneCAN/UAVCAN, CAN, and UART communication; configurable over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit, and temperature protection; cell balancing; and low-temperature heating control.
OEM and ODM configurations are available for project-specific agricultural UAV battery systems.
