Q1: What is BMS in a lithium battery?

A: BMS stands for Battery Management System. The BMS protects against cell damage, which is usually brought on by external short circuiting, excessive or insufficient voltage, excessive current, or high heat.

Q2: Can I run a lithium battery without BMS?
